Description	:	Marie Warner of Clemons has received word of the death of her daughter, La Rita Dawes, 51, of St John's, Virgin Islands on September 20, 2003. She passed away at the St Thomas Hospital in the Virgin Islands following a short illness. La Rita Marie Warner was born February 19, 1952 in Marshalltown to Ronald and Marie Warner. She graduated from West Marshall High School in 1970. She lived in Phoenix, Arizona and then San Pedro, California before going to the Virgin Islands. She married Steve Dawes on April 1, 1992. They were married on their yacht which... Read More	Marie Warner of Clemons has received word of the death of her daughter, La Rita Dawes, 51, of St John's, Virgin Islands on September 20, 2003. She passed away at the St Thomas Hospital in the Virgin Islands following a short illness. La Rita Marie Warner was born February 19, 1952 in Marshalltown to Ronald and Marie Warner. She graduated from West Marshall High School in 1970. She lived in Phoenix, Arizona and then San Pedro, California before going to the Virgin Islands. She married Steve Dawes on April 1, 1992. They were married on their yacht which was their home. She was a rental property manager. Surviving besides her husband Steve Dawes, is her son Christopher Wagers who is stationed with the U.S. Air Force in Germany. Also surviving are a sister, Marlys (Earl) Oscarson, Phoenix, Arizona; a sister Linda (Bill) Hartwig of Conrad; a sister Sheryl (John) Nordmark of Penguilly, Minnesota; a brother Le Ron Warner of Clemons; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her father, both maternal and paternal grandparents and three nieces. September 25, 2003 State Center Enterprise. A memorial service will be held for La Rita Warner-Dawes on Saturday, October 4 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Clemons Church of Christ. The members of the West Marshall Class of 1970 are encouraged to meet at the church prior to the service. La Rita is the daughter of Marie Warner of Clemons and passed away recently.
