The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. today, Mon., Dec. 13, at the funeral home. Mr. Goff died on Sun., Dec. 12, 1999, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born on Jan. 3, 1909, in DeKalb County to the late James and Elizabeth Bozarth Goff. Mr. Goff was a farmer and a member of Bethlehem Church of Christ. His family includes his wife, Mable Allison Goff of Baxter; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dortha and Wayne Smith of Baxter, and Nell and Dallas Vinson of Cookeville; three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Charlene Goff, Frank and Ann Goff, and Richard and Brenda Goff, all of Baxter; a daughter-in-law, Teresa Holloway Goff of Cookeville; a brother, James R. Goff of Baxter; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Edwin Dwight Goff; two grandsons, Dale and David Dwight Goff; three brothers; and six sisters. Pallbearers will be grandsons of Mr. Goff. Bro. Glen Ramsey will officiate at the services.
