Description	:	Memorial services for Larry Jessen, 53, of Aberdeen will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Redfield. Visitation will be 4-6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at Carlsen Funeral Home in Aberdeen, and at the church one hour prior to the service. A prayer service will be 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Jon Droege. Burial will be at Green Lawn Cemetery in Redfield, with full military honors. Larry Jessen died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at his home. Larry Donald Jessen, the son of Donald and Marilyn (Schultz) Jessen, was born May 27, 1957, in Redfield. He graduated from the Redfield High School. After high school, Larry joined the National Guard. Larry enjoyed farming and working on older trucks. He loved to sing and was very grateful to the Lord and found peace with God. Larry was very grateful to his children and loved his grandchildren. At the time of his death, Larry was working at the Airport Cafe. Larry is survived by his five children: Micheal (Heather) Kohrs of Iroquois, DeeDee (Daniel) Sharp of Blackwell, Okla., Courtney (James) Ingram of Aberdeen, Ryan Jessen of Aberdeen and Christopher Kohrs of Redfield; seven grandchildren; two brothers: Dennis Jessen of Aberdeen and Ronald (Stacey) Jessen of Colorado; one sister, Debra (Frank) Drexel of Longmont, Colo.; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Keith and Kevin Jessen. Condolences may be sent to www.carlsenfh.com. Carlsen Funeral Home of Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements.
