Description	:	COFFIELD, Larry Emery (July 28, 1947 - January 20, 2012) Our sweet Papa was welcomed into the open arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 20, 2012. His family was by his side when he passed peacefully. His greatest joy in life was his devoted wife, kids and six grandkids. Read More	COFFIELD, Larry Emery (July 28, 1947 - January 20, 2012) Our sweet Papa was welcomed into the open arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 20, 2012. His family was by his side when he passed peacefully. His greatest joy in life was his devoted wife, kids and six grandkids. Those who knew Larry knew that there was not much that he could not do, fix, or build. He also never would pass up the opportunity to help others and expected nothing in return. Larry painted at Deaconess Hospital for 30 years and painted hundreds of people's houses and cars. Larry graduated from Rogers High School in 1966. After serving in the Navy in Vietnam he met his wife of 40 years Judy. Together they had two children; Cristopher (Jessica) and Carla Bischoff (Brad). He attended Calvary Chapel. Larry's pride and joy were his six grandkids; Mason, Cayden, Carson, Griffin, Peyton and Jaycee. He loved watching their sporting events, fishing and building things with them. His life revolved around his family and was very generous with his grandkids. He generally would not come home from work without stopping at a toy store to buy something for them. Larry is also survived by his mother, Erma; brothers, Gary (Linda), Glen (Chris), Leroy (Barbi) and David (Lisa). He is preceeded in death by his Dad, Bates and sister, Cheryl. We want to give a special thanks to everyone at Evergreen Hematology and Oncology for the love and care that they gave Larry for almost two years, along with sister-in-law Toni Ratzlaff for her dedication to Larry and Judy throughout this entire journey. Larry fought his battle with amazing strength and grace. 1 Corinthians; 2:9 -"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him." A "Celebration of Life Service" will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00am at Garland Avenue Alliance Church; W. 2011 Garland Spokane WA 99205. A reception to follow at Garland.
