Description	:	Mrs. Laura Kimble a former resident of Clay Center , died Friday morning February 18, at St-Mary's hospital in Kansas City, at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 5 days. the body was brought to Clay Center for burial. Laura Ann Lane was born in Peru, Indiana, January 13, 1854. She grew to womanhood in her native state and was united in marriage with Orton Price Kimble at Wasbash, Ind., on August 30, 1874 and to them ten children were born, seven of whom are living to mourn the death of their mother. ... Laura Ann Lane was born in Peru, Indiana, January 13, 1854. She grew to womanhood in her native state and was united in marriage with Orton Price Kimble at Wasbash, Ind., on August 30, 1874 and to them ten children were born, seven of whom are living to mourn the death of their mother. Mr. and Mrs. Kimble came to Clay Center, Kansas in 1882 and for many years this was their home. Mr. Kimble departed this life on July 15 1900 and in 1915 Mrs. Kimble moved to Herington. She was a good, patient and loving mother and was loved by all who knew her. She was a member of the Christian Church and a sicere Christian Wamen. Mrs. Kimble is survived by two daughters-Mrs. H. L. Brewer of Topeka and Mrs. Keith Kresop of Kansas City and five son-s Burt J. and Orton Price of Herington, Rex N. of Denver, Arch and fred L. Kimble of Clay Center, all of whom were here for the funeral. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Baptish Church of Clay Center, coducted by the pastor, Wallace W. Carpenter and burial was made in Greenwood cemetery where Mr. Kimble and two children are buried.
