Read More	COOK, Laura Joan RONAN – Laura Joan Cook, 64, sister of Nancy Young of Plains, died Saturday, May 17, 1997 of natural causes at her home near Ronan. Funeral services were conducted Friday, May 23, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Ronan. Interment followed at Ronan Cemetery. She was born Dec. 2, 1932 to John and Jessie Chilcote Neidt at Wells, Oreg. She was raised in the Big Hole Basin and was graduated from Missoula County High School and attended the University of Montana. Oct. 4, 1952, Joan and Charles Cook were married at Polson. Together, they raised four children. Joan was an expert seamstress, enjoyed her grandchildren, flowers and genealogy. She always had a positive attitude and outlook. Her selfless giving ways touched the lives of her family and friends. As for memorials, her family suggested that donors devote time to their favorite charity. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Survivors include her husband, Charles Cook, Ronan; three daughters, Susan lake and husband, Jack, Ronan; Sjaan Vincent and husband, Dave, Charlo; Janice Allen and husband, Lyle, Glasgow; a son, Charles Cook Jr. and Francoise, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Rosa Tougas, Ronan, and Nancy Young, Plains; two brothers, Jason Neidt, Ronan, and John Neidt, Missoula; grandchildren, Katie, Charla, Jamie and Kelly Lake; Ashley Vincent and Josie, Shiloh, Jesse, Gavin and Ariel Allen; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Arrangements were by Shrider's Mortuary of Ronan.
