She was born Lena Laura Pike on November 6, 1929, in South Waterford, as the ninth of 12 children to Clayton Alvin and Grace Skinner Pike. Soon after graduation from Bridgton Academy in 1947, Laura moved to San Diego, Calif., where she married Robert Durell McNary in 1952. Read More	Bend, Or.- Laura Richardson passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016, in Bend, Ore., after a well-lived and generous life. She was born Lena Laura Pike on November 6, 1929, in South Waterford, as the ninth of 12 children to Clayton Alvin and Grace Skinner Pike. Soon after graduation from Bridgton Academy in 1947, Laura moved to San Diego, Calif., where she married Robert Durell McNary in 1952. Together they had three daughters, Patricia Ann Cuny, Julie Grace Kopp and Barbara Lynn McNary. In 1981, she became matriarch of an extended family through her second marriage to Albert Luther Richardson in Greeley, Colo. She enjoyed traveling, entertaining, and staying active and engaged with their families around the country. She is survived by her daughters; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; as well as her sisters, Lelia Hill, Betty Adams and Eva Thurlow; along with many adored nieces, nephews and their families. FUNERAL NOTICE RICHARDSON - Laura, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016. Laura's family is planning a celebration of her life in Bend, Ore., on Memorial weekend 2016. Laura's ashes will then be brought back to Maine and to the Elm Vale Cemetery in Waterford where her grandparents, parents, and many siblings rest in peace.
