Description	:	Laura Way Foy was born in Center County, Pennsylvania, October, 29, 1861, and passed away at her home in Prescott Monday, March 8. 1926. She came to Iowa when a small-child and has lived in and around Prescott nearly 50 years. On February 29tb, 1884, she was united in marriage to James Campbell, at Prescott. To this union were born nine children, seven of whom survive her; one child died in infancy' and the oldest son, Stanley, died at the age of 17 years. Read More	Laura Way Foy was born in Center County, Pennsylvania, October, 29, 1861, and passed away at her home in Prescott Monday, March 8. 1926. She came to Iowa when a small-child and has lived in and around Prescott nearly 50 years. On February 29tb, 1884, she was united in marriage to James Campbell, at Prescott. To this union were born nine children, seven of whom survive her; one child died in infancy' and the oldest son, Stanley, died at the age of 17 years. Mrs. Campbell was converted and joined the Methodist church in the year 1882, during the pastorate of Rev. O. W. Lippencott. She was steadfast in her faith to the last. Failing health deprived her of church privileges for some time. Mrs. Campbell was a kind and loving wife and mother and an ideal neighbor. Her home was a hospitable one. She will be sadly missed in the home and community. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband James Campbell; seven children, Guy, Ray and Gladys Cook, of Prescott; Mrs. Lola Hardisty, of Corning; Mrs. Edna Shoemaker and Mrs. Elma Williams, of Winterset, and Roy who resides at home with his father. There are ten grandchildren. She also leaves four brothers and one sister. They are S. A. and W. S. Foy, of Prescott; James W. Foy of Blair, Nebr.; W. B. Foy of Osborn, Kans., and Mrs. Rob Black, of Illinois. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. The funeral services were held in the M.E. church Thursday afternoon, conducted by Pastor F. H. Perkins. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery. Printed in the Adams County Union-Republican March 19, 1926
