Description	:	Stanley Campbell Accidentally Shot and Instantly Killed Sunday near Prescott. Stanley Campbell, who lived with his parents three miles south of Prescott, was accidentally shot and killed Sunday about noon. He was at the home of a neighbor, George Moon, and he and young George Moon were standing by a window overhauling a bicycle. Stanley Campbell, who lived with his parents three miles south of Prescott, was accidentally shot and killed Sunday about noon. He was at the home of a neighbor, George Moon, and he and young George Moon were standing by a window overhauling a bicycle. A Stevens target pistol, 22 caliber, was lying on a stand nearby and when Ed Foy, a young friend of the two boys, came into the room he brushed against the stand and knocked the pistol off. In trying to catch it the pistol was discharged and the bullet struck Campbell in the left breast. It struck the heart and Campbell lived only a few minutes. He made a statement, however, that the shooting was purely accidental, exonerating Foy and requesting that nothing be done to him. The latter is wild with grief and is greatly to be pitied. He is a cousin of the dead boy. Stanley Campbell was 17 years of age and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell His parents have the sympathy of the whole community in their terrible loss. He was a bright boy of good habits and was highly thought of. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the house and was very lately attended.
