Mrs. McDonald was born April 20, 1884 at Grover Hill, Ohio, the daughter of Aarona* and Rachael (McCurdy) Kinkade. She was married September 1, 1900 to A. Wilson McDonald at Van Wert, Ohio. The McDonalds resided at Grover Hill, Ohio, and Eaton Rapids, Michigan before coming to Quincy. Survivors include the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Jones, at home, and Mrs. Mary Mettler, of Hillsdale; two sons, Fred and Robert, both of Coldwater; six grandchildren; three sisters, Miss Belle Kinkade of Scott, Ohio, Mrs. Daisy McElhaney of Ada, Ohio and Mrs. Addie Bodkin of Chillicothe, Ohio. Two brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. McDonald was a member of the Grover Hill (Ohio) Church of Christ and the Quincy Rebekah Lodge. *Submitter's Note: This name is also seen spelled as ARAUNAH.
