Independent-Courier, Clarence, Missouri, 16 Oct 1925, Page 1, Column 6 OBITUARY Mrs. Laura P. Tracy passed away at her home in Clarence, Mo., at 7:30 A. M. on October 15, 1925. Mrs. Tracy was born December 30, 1865, in Macon County on a farm, but in a few years she, with her parents moved to Clarence and most of her life was spent in this vicinity. Laura P. Wiles [sic] was married to John Tracy, August 4, 1887. She [sic--He] departed from this life, March 1, 1925. She was a good kind mother, a member of the Baptist Church at 19 years of age. She leaves to mourn her death three children and four step-children, namely, Harry Tracy of Hutchinson, Kansas; Orville Tracy of Clarence; and Albert Tracy of Chillicothe. The step-children are Oscar Tracy of Clarence; Will Tracy of Abon, Ill. and Edna Glawn of Detroit, Mich. She also leaves two brothers, F. Wiles [sic] of Fort Scott, Kansas, and A. N. Wiles [sic] of Quincy and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Hutton of Anabel, Mo. and Mrs. J. F. Strange of Clarence, Mo. The funeral was held Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the residence and was conducted by Rev.
