Description	:	HOWLAND and LAKEVILLE – Laurel W. Ham, 85, wife of the late Lawrence Blake Ham, passed away Jan. 25, 2012, at a Howland health care facility. She was born May 7, 1926, at Bunker Hill Farm, Winn, daughter of William G. and Maye M. (Farrington) Whitney. Laurel graduated from Winn High School as valedictorian of the class of 1943. She attended University of Maine, graduated from Sisters Hospital School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by siblings, Clifton E. Whitney, Hannah D.
