Description	:	Laverne was born in Lame Deer, Montana to Pierre and Mary Ewing. She married Raymond Two Two (later divorced) and together they had two children Lenray Two Two and Sandra Two Two. Laverne attended St Labre, Lame Deer and Colstrip Highschool where she graduated in 1958. In her early years Laverne loved to ride horses and be with her family and extended family. Read More	Laverne was born in Lame Deer, Montana to Pierre and Mary Ewing. She married Raymond Two Two (later divorced) and together they had two children Lenray Two Two and Sandra Two Two. Laverne attended St Labre, Lame Deer and Colstrip Highschool where she graduated in 1958. In her early years Laverne loved to ride horses and be with her family and extended family. Branding times were always one of her favorite times of year, all the Muddy Creek family would get together work hard but mostly laugh tease and eat the best food made by her mother Mary and all her aunts. She loved her life on the “Creek”, horse backing riding farming, berry picking, canning and later quilting. During the early family years of her and her siblings, every Sunday all would go to Grandma’s house for Sunday Dinner and if there was anyone’s birthday during that week it would be celebrated then. During these weekends, early arrivers would play “dice” on Saturday night. Laverne so enjoyed these games; she would often tell stories of how intense the games would get and how anyone would get teased if they got mad…. you could see the laughter in her eyes as she was telling these stories. Laverne’s favorite hobby while living in Lame Deer was working on her yard, she would spend every daylight hour outside planting and grooming her flowers. Her and her cousin Linda Two Two had a sisterly competition going on…. who had the better yard. After the passing of her mother Mary, Laverene moved back up to Muddy Creek to live her father Pierre. During that time, she got to be an expert in quilting, she made many quilts for her kids and grandkids. When her eyesight began to wane, she and her sisters started “Boggle” tournaments. These tournaments were anything but relaxing, they were so competitive that each sister would bring their “own edition” of websters dictionary. All in all, it was a fun and bonding time for each sister. But the most important love in her life was her grandkids. Her oldest grandson Terry Mark and oldest granddaughter Lashon were constantly fighting for bragging rights as to who was grandma’s biggest baby. Little did they know grandma babied all her grandchildren in their own special way. She was always their biggest supportor in anything and everything they did in their life. One of many of her loving ways was the constant and consistent belief…. she never ever gave up or ridiculed anyone of them for bad decisions, she would only listen and be given time and love for each one of them. Laverne started her employment at the St Labre school, she later got hired with the Indian Health Service. She remained there for 42 years. She enjoyed what she did and was very proud of her “shop”. She made many many friends throughout the years there along with numerous stories. Laverne is predeceased by her mother, Mary, father Piere, two grandchildren, Pierre and Mary, her sister Marcella and her nephews Shane Ewing, Keeshawn Scalpcane and nieice Lindsey Berry. Laverne is survived by two children, Lenray Two Two and Sandra Two Two (Jorge). 13 Grandchildren, Terry American Horse (Aspen), Rockelle Limpy (Brian), Rebekah Littlewhiteman and Triston Littlewhiteman. Lashon TwoTwo (Chris), Lenray J Two Two, Jr, Trelyn Two Two (Kaden), Kalen, Jessie, Elisha, Marla, Treleah, Lionel Two Two. Greatgrandkids, Nateesta, Tesnee, Tecoah and Tyberius American Horse. Pierre (Caspian) Rising Sun and Klailea Two Two. Laverne is also survived by three siblings, Lujanna Ewing, Lynwood (Michelle) Ewing and Barbara (Allen) Clubfoot. She had so many nieces and nephews we are not able to mention all so please do not feel offended if we don’t individually name all. A special mention to all the Harris family many of whom are gone and those remaining thank you. Also, to Geraldine Fisher and all the kids, she considered them family till her ending days, thank you. Wake will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic church Friday at 7 p.m. and Graveside services will be held at the Ewing Family Cemetery Saturday at 10 a.m.
