Description	:	Lawrence A. Kromer, 86, of Loudonville, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at Harborside Healthcare Center, Westlake, after an extended illness. Funeral Mass will Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Peter Catholic Church, Loudonville, with Father Vincent Hawk as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Peter&Pauls Cemetery, Loudonville. (Staub) Kromer and married Betty Densmore on Sept. 23, 1942. She died Dec. 3, 2003. He was a graduate of Fostoria St. Wendelin High School and began his working career as an agent for Western & South Life Insurance. He later was a department head for Montgomery Ward, a linotype operator, equipment manager for the Seneca County Engineer, and retired in 1989 from the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, as an auditor. He had made his home in Loudonville since 1972, and served as manager of Mohican State Park Lodge during the building process, working as an engineer for the State of Ohio. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Loudonville and was a life member of St. Peter& Pauls Council 13601, Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed woodworking, as he was a self-taught master craftsman. Surviving are children, Michael (Barbara) Kromer of Waterville, Sharon Phillips of Fairview Park, Julie (Michael) Weber of Wescoesville, Pa., and Angela (David) Drevniak of Loudonville; eight grandchildren; a great-grandson; and two sisters-in-law.
