Lawrence Charles Weeks, the son of Bailey and Milinda Belt Weeks, was born March 10, 1910, in Chase County. He married Della Gravity at Missoula, Mont. They were divorced. He married Dorothy McGuire-Lane on Sept 28, 1974 at Emporia. Mr Weeks was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Lowry-Funston Post 1980 and American Legion Ball-McColm Post 5 in Emporia and the Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge in Missoula, Mont. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Robert F Weeks, whose address is unavailable, and Charles C Weeks of Ottawa; three stepsons, Michael V Lane of Topeka, George E Lane of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Charles A Lane of Warsaw, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Lila R. Pepe of Albuquerque, NM.; three brothers, Dale Weeks of Emporia, Oral Weeks of Council Grove and Jesse Weeks of Hutchinson, three sisters, Venita Kunzey of Americus, Louise Stiles of Alta Vista and Geneive Herreman of Olympia, Was.; two grand-children; 15 stepgrandchildren; and 16 stepgreat-grandchildren.
