Description	:	Lawrence "Larry" Dischner, 54, of rural Monroe, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1993, at his home. Funeral services are 10 am Saturday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Genoa with the Rev. Robert Nienober officiating. Burial is in Valley View Cemetery in Genoa with military graveside services. Visitation is 5-8:30 pm, today at the church with a 7:30 pm rosary. Mr. Dischner was born February 22, 1939, in Columbus to Pete and Ann (Backman) Dischner. He graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in Columbus in 1957. Mr. Dischner was born February 22, 1939, in Columbus to Pete and Ann (Backman) Dischner. He graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in Columbus in 1957. On Oct. 9, 1965, he married Donna Loeffler at St. Bonaventure Catholic church in Columbus. The couple has lived in the Columbus and Monroe areas. He worked for Behlen Mfg. in Sheet Metal Department 11. He served in the U. S. Army from 1962 - 1964 and was a member of Eagles in Columbus and St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Darin at home, Douglas of Columbus and Daniel at home; one daughter, Debra at home, his mother of Columbus; two sisters; Mary Jane Bernt of Columbus and Betty Placzek of Atlantic, IA. he was preceded in death by one infant brother.
