Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church in Pocahontas, Iowa, with Fr. Merle Kollasch officiating. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at the Powers Funeral Home in Pocahontas, Iowa. He was the son of Leonard and Anna (Kemmer) Storr. He was educated at Sacred Heart School in Pocahontas. Following his education he operated the family farm. On Sept 12, 1956, Lawrence married Alice Bartosh in Pocahontas. The couple settled on the family farm near Ware. He worked as a field technician for the ASCS for many years. Lawrence entered the Pocahontas Manor in February of 2007. Lawrence was a member of the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. Survivors include his wife, Alice Storr of Pocahontas; sons, Pat (Julie) Storr of Pocahontas, Mark (Lori) Storr of Nevada, and Jon Storr of Spokane, Wash.; five grandchildren, Emily (Jeff) Leib, Joseph and Mitchell Storr and Zachary and Nathan Storr; and a sister Monica Storr. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leonard and Carl Storr, and sisters, Sister Leonarda, Geneieve and Anna Storr.
