Description	:	LAWRENCE S. ALLEY Lawrence S. Alley, 33, passed away yesterday (Sunday) morning, about four o'clock, in Galax hospital, where he had undergone an operation a few days previous for appendicitis. Mr. Alley seemed to be getting along nicely following the operation but became worse almost suddenly. It is thought that the immediate cause of death was due to weakness of the heart. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Alma Lineberry Alley; three children, Anita, Doris Sue and Lawrence S. Funeral services are to be conducted tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, at 10:30 o'clock, in the Galax Christian church, with interment following in a cemetery at Hebron.
