Description	:	Lee M. Miner, 78, of Ferndale, died in a Eureka hospital Wednesday evening following a lengthy illness. He was born on January 19, 1882 near Petrolia and has resided in that area all of his life. He worked for the Humboldt County Road Department for 23 years, and he had also driven the Petrolia stage for many years. He is survived by his wife, Edith Miner of Ferndale; daughters, Doris Renner and Leah Kausen, both of Ferndale and Phyllis Dont of Santa Rosa; grandchildren, Edward and Doreen Renner, Lynn Kausen, Debra Dont, and numerous nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Citizens Mortuary in Ferndale, with the Rev. H. E. Rasmussen officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Pallbearers will be Cecil Joe Hindley, George A. Hindley, Harland Hindley, Donald Smith, Franklin Myers and Weston Ambrosini.
