Description	:	Following an illness of slightly more than two weeks, Lee S. Barbour, 44, of Houston, one of the best known businessmen in this section, died at the Mercy hospital, Pittsburgh, at, 9: 45 a. m. today, of pneumonia. He had been in the hospital for only one week. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Mr. Barbour was born October 24, 1887, at the Allison stop, on the street car line, in Chartiers township, and spent his early youth in the employ of the Pittsburgh Coal Company, becoming manager of the company store at Midland No. 1 .when 18... Mr. Barbour was born October 24, 1887, at the Allison stop, on the street car line, in Chartiers township, and spent his early youth in the employ of the Pittsburgh Coal Company, becoming manager of the company store at Midland No. 1 .when 18 years of age, which position he occupied for several years, moving to Braznell where he worked in the same capacity for four years. Later he came to Houston where for many years he engaged in the hardware business With R. M. Hamilton. About two years ago he was compelled to sell his interest in the store on account of failing health. He was a member of the Houston U. P. church, the Brownsville Lodge of F. and A. M. No. 60, of the Pittsburgh Consistory and the Knights of Pythias. In 1910 he was united in marriage to Miss Edith Crosson, who survives, together with his mother, Mrs. Martha Barbour; four brothers, John, Grier, Cleve and Dewey: three sisters, Sarah, at home, and Mrs. R.
