Description	:	Lee Plummer, 24, of Logan, an automobile salesman, was fatally injured eight miles north of Council Bluffs on the Lincoln Highway, when his car collided with the rear of another car being driven by Everett N. Wright. Mr. Wright informed the police that he was taking a hot water tank to Camp Mikanakawa. The tank was fastened to the right running board of his car, and he was driving slowly so that it would not fall off. Read More	Lee Plummer, 24, of Logan, an automobile salesman, was fatally injured eight miles north of Council Bluffs on the Lincoln Highway, when his car collided with the rear of another car being driven by Everett N. Wright. Mr. Wright informed the police that he was taking a hot water tank to Camp Mikanakawa. The tank was fastened to the right running board of his car, and he was driving slowly so that it would not fall off. He signaled for a left turn as he approached the corner turning off to the camp and looked in his rear view mirror, but saw no car coming from behind. Suddenly the car driven by Plummer at a high rate of speed, collide with the Wright automobile, turning it partly around and knocking it up the road about twenty five feet. As Wright brought his car to a stop, he saw Plummer's car flipping over, the left door of the car opening and Plummer hitting the pavement. Mr. Plummer's car was completely demolished after overturning in a ditch fifty feet away. His skull had been fractured and his neck broken. Mr. Plummer died in the ambulance enroute to the hospital. The body was removed to Cutler's Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Logan Cemetery, Logan, Iowa. Lee Plummer had been a resident of Logan all his life. He was married to the former Kathryn Tennigkeit. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; two sons, Dwaine and Donald Plummer, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Plummer of Logan; two brothers, Roy Plummer and Earl Plummer; and three sisters, May, Nellie and Mary Plummer, all of Logan. He preceded in death by one brother.
