He was born June 30, 1918 on a farm near Anamosa, Iowa to the late Johann Heinrich and Alma (Hayen) Siebels. After high school graduation, he went to Los Angeles, CA to find challenging work. In 1941, he came back to marry his high school sweetheart, Eleanor Ethel Benadom. Together, they enjoyed 56 years of marriage though they were never blessed with children. Siebels, 92, of Hot Springs Village passed away on Monday, June 13, 2011. He was born June 30, 1918 on a farm near Anamosa, Iowa to the late Johann Heinrich and Alma (Hayen) Siebels. After high school graduation, he went to Los Angeles, CA to find challenging work. In 1941, he came back to marry his high school sweetheart, Eleanor Ethel Benadom. Together, they enjoyed 56 years of marriage though they were never blessed with children. Lee had a very successful Pool Service Co. covering Palm Springs, Palm Desert and Indian Wells, Ca. where they retired in 1989 and spent pleasant times together until Eleanor developed a serious illness from which she later died in 1997. Lee moved to Hot Springs Village to be close to his brother in 1998. Lee was a veteran of WWII, serving as a bombardier in the US Army Air Force. He is survived by his brother, Marvin Siebels of Hot Springs Village; 4 nephews and 6 nieces. He is preceded in death by, 2 brothers, Leonard and Allen and 2 sisters, Lavina and Lucetta. A private memorial service will be at a later date.
