Leeta was born Oct. 21, 1927, in Persia, to W.E. and Helen M. (Koll) Becker. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Persia. Leeta graduated from Persia High School in 1944 and attended Mortuary School in St. Louis, Mo. She was united in marriage to Lynn F. Grap on Feb. 10, 1948. She taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and confirmation classes over many years at Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in many church organizations. Leeta was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Becker. Survivors include her husband, Lynn Grap, Persia; daughter, Lyneta Piela and husband Ronald, Elgin, Ill.; son, Dalyn (Emily Herb) Volcano, Hawaii; granddaughter, Leeta J. Grap of Volcano, Hawaii.
