The coast guard searched throughout the day for three other fishermen, unreported since early Sunday when they left here in a small open fishing boat. The men were identified as Leigh Duffield, 55, and I.L. Wilson, 47, both of Shelton, and Roy Veltrie of Orient, Ferry county. A heavy fog and extremely rough seas hampered the search efforts today. Coastguardmen at the lifeboat station said the men "undoubtedly" had been lost. Two other fishermen narrowly escaped death in the chill, choppy waters. The pair, Coleman Wynn and H. Ward, both from the Grays Harbor area, were rescued after clinging to their overturned boat 40 minutes. The harbor entrance, a favorite spot for salmon fishermen, is subject to treacherous crosscurrents and sudden sea-whipped winds.
