Myers, 66, who died at St. Anthony hospital at Carroll Saturday, were held at the First Methodist church here Wednesday afternoon. Officiating were the pastor, the Rev. Cecil C. Latta, assisted by the Rev. James Wm. Robbins, pastor of the Christian church. Mrs. Paul Nelson furnished organ music during the service. Casketbearers were Delbert Palmer, Clarence Bowman, Charles Smouse, Clifford Marsh, Don Patrick and Alva Palmer. Interment was in the Coon Rapids cemetery. Obituary Leila Hazel Craft, daughter of Oliver H. and Minnie Bell Craft was born August 1, 1889 at Kosta, Iowa, and departed this life at the St. Anthony hospital, Carroll, Iowa, on January 21, 1956, at the age of 66 years, 5 months and 20 days. She spent her early life in the vicinity of Marengo, Iowa, and it was while living here that she was united in marriage to Frank M. Myers on November 23, 1904 and to this happy union three daughters were born. In 1908 Mr. and Mrs. Myers moved to a farm near Guthrie Center and in 1911 they moved to Viola Center and since 1935 they have made their home on a farm southeast of Coon Rapids. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church of Viola Center. Her parents and one sister, Mrs. Edith Craft Ballowe, proceeded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband Frank, her three daughters, Mrs. Wayne Jones (Frances) Mrs. Virgil Patrick (Orriel) and Mrs. Dale Smouse (Ada ) all of Coon Rapids. Nine children and two great grandchildren also mourn her passing. She also leaves one brother Carl H. Craft of California, four nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
