Born September 13, 1925 in Woodleaf, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Laura Isabelle Baker and Luther Franklin Reavis. Mrs. Pence was a graduate of Woodleaf High School. She shared in the operation of the family dairy farm and created a loving home for her family. She was a founding member of Old Providence Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Pence; Sisters, Caroline Rogers, Jean Ritchie, Catherine Smith, Mary Browning; Brothers, Pete Reavis, Kenneth Reavis; and Grandson, Robert Davis. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Roy Pence, Jr. (Monica) of Charleston, SC and his children, Laura Ambrose, Kevin Pence and grandson, Emmett Ambrose; daughter, Anice Griffin (Phil) of Lexington, NC and their children, Sloane Brown and Taylor Griffin and grandchildren, Wesley Brown, Garrett Brown, Melanie Brown and Justin Brown; Son, Eric Pence (Carla) of Cleveland, NC and his children, Rachel Smith, Becca Patton and Leslie Pence and grandchildren, Scott Smith and Julia (Pence) Smith; Daughter Elaine Davis (Neil) of Clemmons NC and her son Steve Davis and grandchildren, Natalie Davis, Ashlynne Davis, Ariana Bennington, Bailey Bennington and Savannah Davis; Daughter Yvonne Fletcher (Gene) of Valdese, NC and her children, Ben, Anna and Katie; Son Trent and his children Leyna and Danny Pence.
