Description	:	Dorothy F. Galles Dorothy F. Galles was a member of Sojourners Club for many years, American Legion Auxiliary and the First Congregational United Church of Christ. She had volunteered with the Red Cross during both world wars, usually handing out coffee and doughnuts at the depot. She played bridge frequently, raised a garden every year and enjoyed her flowers, roses and poppies. Mrs. Galles, 96, of 1807 24th Street W., died Saturday at Valley Health Care Center where she had been a resident since 1982. She was born in Hubbard, Iowa, a daughter of August and Emeile Fett. She graduated from Valley City Normal School in Valley City, North Dakota. She homesteaded east of Broadview with her brother and two of her sisters. On Oct 31, 1915, she married Frank O. Galles in Laurel. During their marriage they owned and operated a garage, auto dealership, a hardware store and a farm implement agency in Broadview until 1932. They moved to Billings and lived at 10 Lewis Avenue until after his death in 1980. Survivors include two sons, Dale F. and Dean E., both of Billings; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
