Description	:	Lena Louise Faigle, 97, of Keokuk, died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Keokuk Area Hospital. She was born July 17, 1914 in Brownington, MO the daughter of Theodore and Ethel Overton Eckhardt. She married Wilmer David Faigle on May 28, 1955 in Burlington, IA. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2005. Mrs. Faigle was a teacher for more than thirty years, retiring in 1977. She taught in Harrisonville, MO before moving to Iowa in 1955 where she taught in Burlington and Keokuk Schools and many years at Southeastern Community College. She had been a member of Chapter U of P.E.O., AAUW, Keokuk Art Center, Great River Players, Delta Kappa Gamma, and was a charter member of the Keokuk Community Arts Council. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, a sister and one nephew.
