Read More	Mrs. Lena Harrison Dies In Sanitarium, Last Tuesday Rites Held Tuesday Last rites were held Tuesday, April 28, 1959, for Lena Maria Harrison, who expired quietly in sleep Sunday morning at the St. Helena Sanitarium, following admission the preceding Thursday. Born Sept. 22, 1875 in Milan, Italy, she was brought to St. Helena by her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lazzari in 1879, receiving her schooling here and assisting them in operating their Railroad Avenue Hotel, now known as Miramonte, then as also now, famed for its fine Italian dinners. As a young lady, she worked in San Francisco at the Emporium and at Lowensteins and subsequently became the first woman employee at Goodman-Lauter Company in St. Helena. Her marriage to Wilbur Harrison was consummated Feb. 16, 1903 by the Rev. Father Patrick Blake and from then on she resided at the Main Street home. A devout Catholic, Mrs. Harrison was a member of St. Anne's Confraternity, the Y.L.I. and the Olive Circle No. 8 of the Druids. Survivors include her six children; Frank Harrison of San Francisco, Leo Harrison of Kentfield, Mrs. Milton (Angela) Young of Rutherford, Wilbur Harrison and Mrs. Helena Elder, both of San Francisco and Horace Harrison of Daly City. Twelve grandchildren also survive. The Rev. Father Joseph Sullivan of Tracy, California, nephew of her late husband, officiated at the Requiem Mass offered for the repose of her soul in St. Helena's Catholic Church commencing at 10 o'clock. Rosary was recited in the Hans Jensen Memorial Chapel, Monday evening at 8 o'clock by the Rev. Father Sullivan. Casket bearers were Frank Harrison, Jr., John and Richard Harrison, of San Francisco, Timothy Harrison of Daly City and Thomas Young of Rutherford—her five grandsons, and Ellis Pizzi, close young family friend, of San Francisco, who carried her to rest in the family plot beside her husband in St. Helena. A large contingent of friends from the Bay Area, Santa Rosa, Napa and Sacramento attended all rites, as well as localities, attesting to the high esteem held for her. St. Helena Star, April 30, 1959
