Description	:	Lena Reck Springer Obit Mrs. Lena, Springer, daughter of David and Mary Reck, was born March 27, 1866, in Lubin Voges Frances and departed this life at the Milford Rest home early Friday morning, March 30, 1956 at the age of 90 years and two days. She was one of a family of six children two brothers and two sisters having preceded her in death. She camewith her parents to the United States in 1880 and settled in Danvers, Illinois. Read More	Lena Reck Springer Obit Mrs. Lena, Springer, daughter of David and Mary Reck, was born March 27, 1866, in Lubin Voges Frances and departed this life at the Milford Rest home early Friday morning, March 30, 1956 at the age of 90 years and two days. She was one of a family of six children two brothers and two sisters having preceded her in death. She camewith her parents to the United States in 1880 and settled in Danvers, Illinois. She came to Nebraska in 1887 and was a practical nurse for many years. She was united in marriage to C. N. Springer on May 8, 1923, who preceded her In death on October 30, 1952. She was converted at the age of 25 and sanctified four years later. She became a member of the United Missionary Church of Milford in 1897, and was a very devout and faithful member until she went to be with her Lord, whom she loved and served so well. She served the church as Sunday School Superintendent, class leader and steward for many years. Those remaining to mourn her loss are one sister, Mrs. Pauline Dierberger of Burwell, one step ducted at the United Missionary and Mrs. George Sonday of Seward, one step daughter-in-law Mrs. Martha Springer of Lincoln, sixteen step grandchildren forty nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the United Missionary Church of Milford Monday afternoon April 2nd at 2 PM with Rev Charles Gray in charge of the service. Burial in Pleasant View Cemetery. Out of town relatives at the funeral of Mrs. C. N, Springer were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Reck, Scotia, Orville Dierberger, North Loup, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dierberger, Emma, Nora and Myrtle Burwell, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Dierberger Goehner, Jesse Dierberger, Perry, Iowa Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nelson Manhattan Kansas, Mrs. Lydia Berry, Mrs. Rhoda Brennaman Shambaugh, Iowa Mrs. P. T. Johnson, Hayden, Colorado Mrs. Wray Wroughton, Nelson, Mir and Mrs. Harry Miller, and daughter, Crete Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Miller, Murray, Urah Mr. and Mrs. Sam Miller, Dorchester, Mrs. R. T.
