She attended school in Hastings and graduated from Hastings High School and attended Hastings College. Nohavec Bouska, was born December 26, 1910, on a farm near Wilber, Nebraska, and passed away October 27, 1980, at Nelson at the age of 69 years, 10 months and 1 day. She attended school in Hastings and graduated from Hastings High School and attended Hastings College. Lenora has lived in the Clay County, Lawrence and Guide Rock areas and made her final home in Nelson. June 18, 1935, Lenora was united in marriage to Edward Stichka at Clay Center, Nebraska. To this union four children were born. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ladd Bouska; a sister, Roselie Koci; and a grandson, Tony Evans. Survivors include her husband, Ed; 3 daughters, Mrs. Clarence E. Sole of Nelson, Mrs. Donald R. (Frances Ann) Spratt of Mims, Florida and Mrs. Donald (Helen) Iliff of Superior; son, William E. Stichka of Nelson; 2 sisters, Mrs. Albert (Caroline) Miller of Segundo, Colorado and Mrs. Donald (Ida) Rush of Geneva, 18 grandchidren; 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 30, from the Klawitter Funeral Home Chapel in Nelson, with Rev. Janet Baernstein officiating. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery. Casketbearers were Howard Olson, Dick Wroughton, Joe Herbek, Gerald Whiteley, Don McCartney and Churck (sic) Larison. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, November 6, 1980; pg. 13
