Description	:	OBITUARY: Lenora Marie French, 74, East Wenatchee, died in Central Washington Hospital Monday afternoon following an ectended illness. She was born Lenora Marie Broncheau on Aug. 11, 1911, at Cottonwood Creek, Idaho, a member of the Nez Perce Indian Tribe. She attended school at the Slickpool Indian Mission at Culdesac, Idaho, which was a mission of the Catholic church. When she was 18 years old she came to Wenatchee and worked at the "old dehydrator plant" on Columbia Street for several years. When she was 18 years old she came to Wenatchee and worked at the "old dehydrator plant" on Columbia Street for several years. In 1940, she moved to Kellogg, Idaho, and on Dec. 29, 1943, married Raymond J. French at Superior Mont. They made their first home at Kellogg, Idaho, for three years and then moved to East Wenatchee in 1946. They began building a home at 275 N. Joseph in East Wenatchee, completing it in 1954. Mr. French preceded her in death in 1969. Mrs. French was an enrolled member of the Nez Perce Indian Tribe of Lapwai, Idaho. Survivors include two daughters, Cleo Kenten, Euphrata, and Mrs. William (Elizabeth Ann) Maki, East Wenatchee; two adopted daughters, Patty Reed, Wenatchee, and Dorothy Radke, East Wenatchee; one half-brother, Lincoln Blansfield, Selah; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Telford Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements. Wenatchee World - Oct. 1, 1985
