Description	:	For nine years after their marriage they farmed the Jim Uridil farm 1 ½ miles north of Clutier. In 1945 Leo's dad became ill and had to retire from farming So they moved to the home place and lived there for 30 years. Leo also worked at the Tama and Belle Plaine sale barns for 23 years. They celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary February 12, 1986 Ann Vileta is Bride of Leo Parizek, Near Clutier Miss Ann E. Vileta, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Vileta, southeast of Dysart, was married to Leo J. Parizek, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Parizek, east of Clutier, at 7 o clock Wednesday evening in the parsonage of the Dysart Evangelical Church. The Rev. H. J. Wackerbarth read the ceremony. The bride was attended by Miss Emma Vileta, her sister, and the best man was Albert L. Vileta, brother of the bride. The bride wore a gown of white satin and carried an arm bouquet of flowers of the season. The bridesmaid s gown was of lavender taffeta and she carried an arm bouquet of sweetpeas. The young couple dispensed with a wedding trip on account of the drifted roads. They will make their home on the Uridil farm, north of Clutier, which the groom has been operating. [Traer Star Clipper, 14 February 1936] Leo J. Parizek, 76, Clutier, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1989, in Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo. Funeral services were held from the Clutier Community Church at 10:30 Friday morning, with Rev. Maurice Russell, officiating. Luella Hora was organist and accompanied Diane Caloud, vocalist. Pall bearers were Tracey Parizek, Jan Parizek, Jeff Parizek, George Vileta, Mike Kockler, and Eugene Christensen. Burial was in National Cemetery, Vining,with Overton Funeral Service, Traer, in charge of arrangements. Mr. Parizek was born Aug. 18, 1913, in Clutier, son of John A. and Anna Yuska Parizek. He attended the Oneida rural school and farmed with his father. On February 12, 1936, he married Ann Vileta at the E.U.B. Church in Dysart, and the couple farmed nine years north of Clutier and later farmed southeast of Clutier, until moving into Clutier in 1976. In his leisure time, Mr. Parizek enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, fishing, and socializing with friends. Survivors include his wife, Ann, Clutier, three sons, LeRoy, and Wayne, both of Belle Plaine, and Larry of Clutier, 10 grandchildren, one great-grandson. His parents and a sister, Agnes Skarda, preceded him in death. [Tama News Herald; 7 December 1989]
