Mr. Jarrard was born February 6, 1909, near Lone Tree, Iowa, the son of Frank and Fannie Wall Jarrard. He married Iva Westaway at Kahoka, Missouri, March 4, 1938. Read More	Lone Tree Reporter, Thursday, April 28, 1966 Leo Randall Jarrard, 57, passed away at his home in Lone Tree, Monday evening, April 25th, from a heart attack . Mr. Jarrard was born February 6, 1909, near Lone Tree, Iowa, the son of Frank and Fannie Wall Jarrard. He married Iva Westaway at Kahoka, Missouri, March 4, 1938. He had lived in this area most of his life, as a f armer before being employed as a carpenter by the Yakish Construction Company the past several years. Mr. Jarrard was a member of the First Methodist Church in Lone Tree, Abner Lodge No. 535 AF & AM, Zarapath Consistory and Kaaba Shrine at Davenport. His widow survives with his father, one son, William, two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Yakish and Mrs. James (Grace) Yakish, ten grandchildren, three brothers, Cleo (his twin), of Grundy Center, Harry, of Iowa City and Roy, of Waverly . Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27th, in the First Methodist Church with the Rev. Roy Shaughnessy officiating. Pallbearers were J . L. Kirkpatrick, Edgar Johnson, Frank Skala, Elwyn Pearson, Harry Brenneman and William Schlapkohl. The Sorden &Adams Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Burial was in the Lone Tree Cemetery.
