Paul Miles and the Rev. George Cashwell will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday 5-7 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Tri-County. Surviving are Jean Jeffers; their sons, Troy Jeffers (Becky) of Lugoff, Lannie Jeffers of Leesville, and Stacey Jeffers of Elgin; brothers, Tommy Jeffers (Christine), Donnie Jeffers (Suzie) and David Jeffers, Jr.; sisters, Mary Rose, Elaine Perry (Jack), and Debbie Melton; grandchildren, Brandon Jeffers, Justin Jeffers, and Kristen Jeffers; and a great-granddaughter, Abigail Rose Jeffers. He was predeceased by brothers, Rev. Ronald Jeffers, Larry Jeffers, and Davidstean "Buddy" Jeffers; and sister, Blondie Wilson.
