President of college; Dr. George Willard Frasier, in discussing the accident at the Agricultural college, he recalled the fact that a Teachers college student was killed a year ago in a class contest. He declared that such things should be stopped, the cost of class supremacy was too great. Official statement made; It is regrettable that another college student has given his life in battle for class supremacy. There is still fresh in our mind the accident on our own campus a year ago when our own students sustained injuries which led to his death. A committee of teachers and students will devise methods of settling the question of class supremacy without resorting to dangerous practices and without endangering the lives of students. MILES NOAH DIED LAST YEAR The student who died as a result of the freshman-sophomore sack rush on Jackson field last Nov 10 was Miles Noah, 19 of Agate. Noah was kicked in the head during the group sack rush that was held as part of homecoming festivities. He died I the Greeley hospital four days after he was injured. FATALITY AT AGGIES LAST WEEK The fatality of Leo J. Green of Gordon, Neb. Green was injured in the tug-o-war when he was pulled thru a pool of water as his classmates lost the battle. He had tied the rope around his body, as he was anchor. The knot slipped and tightened around him tearing two ribs loose and causing other injuries which he died from several days later. A committee has been investigating the annual freshman-sophomore activities since that time and it is though the events may be abolished at the Fort Collins schools.
