On November 21, 1952, she married John Mulder at Sioux Center. They made their home in Sioux Center, where she was a homemaker and did much babysitting. She was raised at Sioux Center, where she graduated from high school. On November 21, 1952, she married John Mulder at Sioux Center. They made their home in Sioux Center, where she was a homemaker and did much babysitting. Mrs. Mulder was a member of the First Reformed Church. Her family was very important to her, and she enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She liked to travel and take walks, which usually ended over coffee with friends. Survivors include her husband of 50 years; a son, Randy Mulder of Sioux Falls,SD.; two daughters, Barbara and her husband Jeffrey Van Roekel of Sheldon; and Laura Oldenkamp of Hull; six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, Daniel, and Matthew Van Roekel; and Kayla and Zachary Oldenkamp; and five brothers and sister, Peter Van Muyden and his wife Hermina, of Sioux Center; Lester Van Muyden and his wife Loritia, of Hull; Margaret and her husband, Glen Brinkhuis, of West Sacramento, CA.; Milton Van Muyden of Sacramento, CA. and Glen Van Muyden and his wife Hermina, of Wilton, CA. She was preceded in death by three sons, Ricky, Terry and Darwin Mulder; a brother, Marvin Van Muyden; and a sister, Ethel Gerritson.
