Survivors Include his wife; three children, Larry La Rue and his wife Donna Van Muyden, Zell Rae De Bruin and Ward J. Van Muyden, all of Sioux Center; four brothers, Peter Van Muyden of Sioux Center, Lester Van Muyden of Hull, Milton Van Muyden and Glen Van Muyden, both of Sacramento, California; two sisters, Margaret Brinkhuis of Sacramento and Leona (Mrs. John Mulder) of Sioux Center; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ethel Garretson; and one grandchild. Sioux Center News 1994-08-09.
