Description	:	Leonard A. Reier, 83, 430 N. Perry St., St. Marys, died Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born Sept. 23, 1925, in Celina, a son of Albert and Matilda (Zahn) Reier and they preceded him in death. On June 26, 1948, he married Thelma Kemper and she survives at the residence. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Brandy Reier. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He had retired from Crown Equipment Corporation. He had also worked at Tip and Doe Taxi, Parker Hannifin and St. Marys Hardware. He was a life member of VFW Post 9289 and a member of American Legion Post 323 and Eagles Lodge 767 in St. Marys. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys. He loved woodworking, playing cards and assembling puzzles. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
