Mr. Storey was born in Pacific Junction and lived in Council Bluffs most of his life. He retired from Chicago & North Western Railroad, and he was a WWII veteran. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; four daughters, Lori Jinzo of Albuquerque, N.M., and Diane Bare, Janis Foote and Masha Miller of council Bluffs; six sons, Gary Storey of Council Bluffs, Dennis Storey of Colleyville, Texas, David Storey of Shenandoah, Scott Storey of Bellevue, Neb., and Craig Savala of Omaha; two sisters, Rose Profeda of Council Bluffs and Pauline Bryson of Carrollton, Mo.; three brothers, Artie of Missouri Valley, Ralph of Waverly, Mo., and William "Bill" of Council Bluffs; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at McCurdy Funeral Home with Chaplain Ernest Gutha officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 737. Visitation with the family will be 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
