Description	:	L. Everett Seim, age 83, of Edinburg, ND, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the First Care Health Center of Park River. Leonard Everett Seim was born August 31, 1926 near Milton, ND, the son of the late Ole and Johanna (Flom) Seim. He attended the Osford School District #4 and graduated from Milton High School in 1944. Everett served in the United States Marine Corps from 1945-1947 in the South Pacific. Everett Seim, age 83, of Edinburg, ND, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the First Care Health Center of Park River. Leonard Everett Seim was born August 31, 1926 near Milton, ND, the son of the late Ole and Johanna (Flom) Seim. He attended the Osford School District #4 and graduated from Milton High School in 1944. Everett served in the United States Marine Corps from 1945-1947 in the South Pacific. Following his discharge, he returned to the Milton area where he farmed with his brother Andy. Everett was united in marriage to Mary Storslee on May 18, 1952 in Underwood, MN. The couple lived and farmed near Milton until January of 1963 when they moved to Edinburg and started the E&M Store and Kaffee Kop. Everett ran the business until July of 2009. Everett was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Edinburg. He was a member of the Davidson American Legion Post #156 of Edinburg. Everett is survived by his wife, Mary, of Edinburg, ND; children: Marilee (Roger) Eikom, Tolna, ND; Janet (Mark) Dassinger, Gladstone, ND; Douglas Seim, Shakopee, MN; five grandchildren: Jeffrey Momerak, Rebecca Momerak, both of Edinburg, ND; Jessica (Lionel) Bevevides, Mercedes, TX; Tanner (Amanda) Samuelson, Alvarado, MN; Haley Dassinger, Gladstone, ND; five great-grandchildren and brother: Kermit (Leona) Seim, Sioux Falls, SD. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Johnny and Andy. Memorial Services will be Friday, March 5, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Edinburg. Visitation will be Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at the St. Stephen's Lutheran Cemetery near Milton. Military rites will be provided by the Davidson American Legion Post of Edinburg.
