Description	:	Leone Sejnoha 91, Died at Golden Living Center in Armour on July 28, 2015. Leone (Varuska) Sejnoha of Geddes was born July 16, 1924, to John and Tillie (Kriz) Varuska. She had 3 sisters Maxine, Betty, and Charlene; 2 brothers Verlin and Leonard who passed away at 2 years of age. Charlene is the only one living. She attended Glendale school and graduated from the 8th grade. After she graduated, she started babysitting and cleaning houses. She had 3 sisters Maxine, Betty, and Charlene; 2 brothers Verlin and Leonard who passed away at 2 years of age. Charlene is the only one living. She attended Glendale school and graduated from the 8th grade. After she graduated, she started babysitting and cleaning houses. On September 4, 1943, she married William Sejnoha, they worked around Lake Andes. He worked for File Nelson on the farm, and she painted and cleaned houses for ladies in Wagner, Pickstown, and Lake Andes. Her husband served in the Navy for one year. When he came home, they moved to a farm east of Geddes, SD. They had 6 children: Sherry (Orville) Dvoracek, children: Mike, Aimee, Terry, Kristin; Bryan (Charlene), children: Sheldon, Sheila; Rhonda (Gary) Bartekoske, children: Bradly, Aaron, Jason, Traci; Robert, children: Michelle, Bobby, Jill, Mandi; Kirby (Ruth), child: Joe; and Dawn (Lyle) Tegethoff, children: Casey, Mackenzie, Seth, McKayla. In 1980, they moved into Geddes due to the dry weather and no grass for the cattle. Her husband worked on a farm for Jim Schulte, and she worked as a janitor in the United Methodist Church for 20 years. Leone was known for her pie baking skills, as well, where she earned numerous awards. She was a lifetime member of the Women's Legion Auxiliary and United Methodist Church and belonged to the Women's Circle. Her husband died April 17, 1988, of a heart attack. She lost two sons 5 months apart. Robert died July 15, 2003, while working for Johnson Farms in Geddes of a heart attack, and Kirby died December 29, 2003, while working at Graphic Packaging in Mitchell also from a heart attack. She had 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, two sons, two brothers, two grandchildren, and her parents.
