Funeral services are planned for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary & Crematory, Aberdeen, SD with Reverend George Shaver officiating. Leontina was married to Edmund Morlock at her family farm near Hosmer, SD. They first moved to a farm near Lehr, ND. After a short time they purchased a farm seven miles east of Ellendale, ND. Leontina enjoyed living in the country where her favorite pastimes were tending to a garden, growing flowers and raising small farm animals. In 1971, they sold the farm and moved to Ellendale, where she continued her love of gardening. Upon her retirement, Leontina moved to the Aberdeen area, living in Westport for fifteen years before moving to the Homestead apartments, and then two years at Bethesda Home of Aberdeen. Leontina loved the Lord and had a strong Christian faith. Her greatest enjoyments in life were singing hymns of praise, and observing njqature, especially the beauty of a flower blossom. Leontina was preceded in death by her husband Edmund; by sisters, Althea (Buechler) Weishaar, Alma Bratten, Lorene Rudstrom, and Erna Huber; brothers, Arnold, Harold, Walter, Herbert, Otto and Robert Hieb; and an infant grandchild. Grateful to share her in her life are survivors: sons, Gerald (Diane) Morlock and Leland (Ellen) Morlock; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Survivors also include a sister, Helen (Jules) Satmary, brother, Harry (Carolyn) Hieb, and sisters-in-law Naomi Hieb, Phyllis Hieb, Delores Hieb Kumpf, and Virginia Hieb.
