Read More	Leota Adalyne Wilson Rozanek was born February 12, 1911, to William Patrick Wilson and Myrtle Anna Johnson Wilson on a farm east of Geneva. She passed away on December 4, 1986, at the Fillmore County Hospital, Geneva, at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 22 days. She spent her childhood in the vacinity of Geneva and attended rural school. On August 1, 1932, she and Edward Rozanek were united in marriage at Belleville, Ks. To this union was born one son, Rene. Throughout the next 36 years they lived on farms south of Exeter in Liberty Township. In 1968, they moved to town. Leota and Ed enjoyed this home together until Ed moved into Bethesda Care Center in March of 1986. Leota lived alone since then and kept busy with her hobbies. She enjoyed gardening and seemed to have a green thumb with outdoor flwers and house plants. Leota was an avid reader and a frequent visitor at the library. She checked out 15 books each month and enjoyed pioneer stories, history and books about other countries. She was an accomplished seamstress. Her embroidery work was especially fine. She made clothes for her grandchildren and most of her own clothes. Her beautiful quilts are family treasures. Each grandchild has a quilt. At the time of her death, she was working on one for Susan, hoping to finish it for Christmas. Leota was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Delbert; a sister, Lea Illa, and brothers, Raymond and Ralph. Survivors are her husband, Edward; son and daughter-in-law, Rene and June, grandchildren, Renae, David and Susan, nieces, nephews and many friends. Leota always had time to visit with family and friends and will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services were conducted from Farmer's Funeral Home, Exeter, on Saturday, December 6, with the Rev. John Scavo officiating. Evelyn Mitchell accompanied Robert Rhodes, who sang "In the Garden" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus." Pallbearers were David Rozanek, Joe Sladek, Ron Jindra, Robert Vasatka, Jim Brydl and Jim Vejraska. Interment was in the Exeter Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal December 11th, 1986 page 8. Daughter of William Patrick and Myrtle Anna (Johnson)Wilson. Wife of Edward Rozanek. They were married on August 1, 1932.
