Description	:	LeRoy "Roy" P. Ridgway Jr. of Mount Holly passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mount Holly. He was 85. Born in Pemberton, Mr. Ridgway was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Pemberton High School and from Trenton State College and served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Ridgway was a longtime physical education teacher, coach, and later a guidance counselor at Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly. The husband of the late Gail, he is survived by his son, Jay B. Ridgway of Medford; and daughter, Jan Sarnese of Margate; and four grandchildren, Laraine, Julie, Jaclyn, and Joseph. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Pemberton Boro. Contributions in Mr. Ridgway's memory may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
