NOV. 10, 1998, AT PLUS He was born July 1, 1920, in Duchouquet Township to Rondell R. and Mary Marie Talmage Gesler. On May 29, 1941, he married V. Virginia Shepherd, who died June 4, 1990. Mr. Gesler was a self-employed carpenter. He was an Army veteran of World WarII. Survivors include a son, Dennis LeRoy (Betty) Gesler of Lima; three daughters, Nancy (Tom) Bowerman of Lima, Melinda Barhorst of Botkins and Michael Ann (David) Hoffer of Angola, Ind.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Robert and Rondell Gesler, Jr.; and a sister, Glytanna Fisher. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Lewis Chapel of Chiles & Sons-LamanFuneral Homes. The Rev. Dottie Kaiser will officiate. Burial will be in Bluelick Cemetery.Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
