He departed this life on Monday August 25, 2014 at Thayer County Health Services in Hebron, Nebraska at the age of 87 years. Leroy was a 1946 graduate of Edgar High School. Read More	Leroy Robertson Wall the son of Lot and Mattie (Robertson) Wall was born November 19, 1926 at Hastings, Nebraska. He departed this life on Monday August 25, 2014 at Thayer County Health Services in Hebron, Nebraska at the age of 87 years. Leroy was a 1946 graduate of Edgar High School. He was united in marriage to Ruth Mersch on August 21, 1949 at Davenport, NE. The couple just had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. This union was blessed with the birth of four children two sons and two daughters. Leroy farmed near Shickley, NE right after high school, the couple moved to various locations including Sutton, Edgar where he worked at the Ammunition Depot near Hastings; Grand Island, Denver, Colorado where they owned and operated Wall’s Lawn Service and moved back to Davenport, Nebraska in 1993 where Leroy was employed by the school as their janitor from 1993 to 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Jerry Lee Wall born October 11, 1955 and three sisters. Survivors include his wife Ruth of Deshler, NE; daughters: Betty Zimmerman of Henderson, CO and Patricia Hanson of Grand Junction, CO a son Michael Wall of Denver, CO; 18 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and a host of friends. Memorial services will be held this Saturday 11:00 AM August 30, 2014 at the Church of Christ in Davenport, NE. Pastor Ron Shields will be officiating. Private family inurnment will be held in the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar, NE. Williams Funeral Home of Edgar, NE is in charge of the arrangements.
