Read More	Ottumwa Courier, Tuesday, January 4, 1944 Lessie L. Lang Lessie L. Lang, 64, died at his home on Ottumwa Route 6 at 3 pm, Monday. He had lived in Ottumwa the last 38 years during which time he had followed the carpenter and contracter trade. He also was formerly employed by the Iowa Southern Utilities co. and was a member of Division No. 199 of the Motor Coach Employers of America. Mr. Lang was the son of Dave and Alice Lang and was born October 18, 1879, in Davis co. Surviving are his wife Emma, two sons Wilber and Harold, both of Ottumwa and four grandchildren Eugene, Beverly, Rowene, and Shirley Lang all of Ottumwa. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 pm at the Johnson Funeral Chapel in the charge of Rev. E.L. Frost, pastor of the Davis Street Christian Church. Burial will be in the Shaul cem. The casket will be taken to the home at 5 pm today and will be returned to the Johnson Chapel at noon Wednesday.
