Description	:	Lester Charles "L.C." Wilson Brevard – Lester Charles "L.C." Wilson, 93 passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014. He was the son of the late Lester Benjamin and Nora Ross Wilson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Melvin Wilson and a sister. Mae McNeely. Lester proudly served his country in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was employed for Olin... Read More	Lester Charles "L.C." Wilson Brevard – Lester Charles "L.C." Wilson, 93 passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014. He was the son of the late Lester Benjamin and Nora Ross Wilson. He was also preceded in death by a son, Melvin Wilson and a sister. Mae McNeely. Lester proudly served his country in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was a lifelong member of Cathey's Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for more than 60 years. He was also a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and a choir member. He was employed for Olin Matheson Corporation for 44 years. He was a farmer and plowed gardens as a service to the community for years. He was a quiet man that was deeply loved by all who knew him. Funeral Services will be held 2pm, Monday, April 7, 2014 at Cathey's Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors given by the Transylvania County Honor Guard.
