Description	:	Funeral services will be held Thursday from the United Methodist Church of Sherwood for Lester E. Owen, 67, Sherwood farmer, who was dead on arrival at the Mohall hospital. Interment will be made in the Union Cemetery of Sherwood. He was born Feb. 2, 1912, at Hines, Minn., where he was reared. He lived at Sherwood and Sarasota, Fla., before enlisting in the Navy. Mr. Owen returned to the Sherwood area in the 1950s, and farmed there and at Carnduff, Saskatchewan. Surviving are: Brothers, Robert H., Sherwood, and Elmer M. Hines; and sisters, Mrs. Vera Legreid, Grover City, Calif., Mrs. Doris Erickson, Bemidji, Minn., and Louise Knox, Arroyo Grande, Calif.
